Beautiful evening fireball over the Netherlands–cool slide set

This is a nice description of a recent fireball that occurred over the Netherlands.  Amazingly someone was at the right place at the right time and within 30 seconds clicked off a nice set of pictures.

Here is the slide show–wow, these are so cool.

Here is a description of the event.

I have witnessed two such events, they are spectacular, occasionally they set off major responses by helicopter-based search and rescue when misinterpreted as a plane crash or emergency flare.

I would love to link these together into an animation, but will wait for the photographer and copyright holder to do that. Thanks for posting these mate!
